In May 1999, just before Jake turned two, Amy, Jake and Eric took a trip to Orlando. We stayed near Disney, but not at a Disney hotel, which gave us a lot of flexibility in what we wanted to do. In addition to a great trip to Typhoon Lagoon and a visit to Cocoa and New Smyrna Beaches, we relaxed a lot at the hotel and Jake really got into swimming at the hotel pool.
